The Inaugural Issue of the Chesapeake Angler Magazine was May 1997. In that first issue was an article that describes the process that began over "a couple of pots of coffee" and culminated in that first issue. We have reproduced it here, titled "A Concept, A Magazine, A Work in Progress." Eleven years later we distribute around the Chesapeake Bay and along it's tributaries and at tournaments, fishing shows, and boat shows on the Bay and New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. We have a readership of over 90,000 magazines monthly.
