| On his recent trip to Alaska, Rexwood Cox caught this Ling cod which he says looks like an oversized oyster toad. The rest of the catch included some small halibut, silver salmon and red salmon. | On the same trip to Alaska, Rexwood also caught these two beautiful yelloweyes. | Charlie Southall, Stevie Powell, and Ken Neil pose with some of their catch around Norfolk Canyon. | His and her Spanish mackerel
caught by Pixie and Bob Tolhurst of King George on September 17 while fishing the Southwest Middle Ground with Bob and Susan Hudson of Reedville onboard Karisma. The big Spanish mackerel was weighed at Smith Point Marina at 9 pounds 2 ounces, 11 ounces off the state record set in 1993.. |
This 3 pound 2 ounce pompano was caught on Sept. 5 in the Mobjack Bay by Mark Ottarson of Northumberland on peeler crab while fishing for Specks. The fish was weighed at Queens Creek Outfitters, Cobbs Creek, VA. | ||
