The Elkin boys, Jefferson, 5 and Jack, 10, went rock fishing with their dad, John, on Dec. 5, '07 to #8 on the Rappahannock River and near Greenvale Creek. Jack netted a 41 in. 25 lb. rockfish by himself after dealing with tangled and snagged lines. Jefferson reeled in a 25 in. 6 lb. fish all by himself as well. Jurgen and Emily Korb went fishing with Captain Bob Reed of Bob-a-Long Charters on Dec. 2, '07. They caught these fine stripers out of Dividing Creek, VA.

This 37 in. rockfish was caught by Tommy O'Neil of Sufflok, VA aboard Smokin Gun with Captain Chandler Hogg in mid December.They were trolling around the 3rd Island at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
Pictured above is a pair of 42 in. rockfish caught by Al Miller and Captain Wes Fonstock aboard Wes' boat Rascal on Dec. 14, '07. The men were fishing the Cut Channel and the Rappahannock River and the fish were caught trolling. Inset above: Jake Lantham caught this redbreast on the Rappahannock River in the Summer of 2005. Large picture above is Jake with a 30 lb. 48 in. striper he caught in the Race off Orient Point, NY in the summer of 2007. Amazing what a couple of years will do!!
